Conclusion:
The success of Ping-Pong diplomacy was both inevitable and accidental: The growing Sino-Soviet conflict created an opening for better Sino-American relations; and the unexpected interaction between two countries’ athletes accelerated the process of reaching compromises.

​Today, open access exists between the two nations. Every year, Chinese students come to America to attend colleges while American tourists go to China to experience its unique culture[1][2]. America and China have became close culturally and economically[3]. People may not realize that change was started by an unrelated small ping-pong ball.
